The eMotionizer is created by UAntwerp’s Motion Control Research Team to translate their cutting-edge research into a practical tool so the mechatronics community can benefit from it. The eMotionizer aims to amplify the impact of our researchers’ extensive work, ensuring that it doesn’t just remain buried in academic literature.
Led by Professor Stijn Derammelaere, UAntwerpen’s motion control experts bring over a decade of experience in advanced mechatronics. The team focuses on optimizing entire drive systems—from concept generation in early design phases to geometric and control-based refinements during development and even devising algorithms to upgrade existing machinery through software enhancements.
